Established in 2025, we are an organization providing expertise in structural engineering internationally. Damian Brenlla Structural Workshop comprises one office in Cambridge, UK, and a secondary one in Grille, Spain, each one embedded in its local context while united by common ambitions for pioneering engineering. These offices are led by Damian Brenlla, working with a group of collaborators tailored to the needs of each project. As structural engineers, we thrive on complex and innovative projects, guiding them from initial concept to final execution. We provide advanced structural design and specialist consultancy services, focusing on cutting-edge construction methodologies throughout the project lifecycle.
Among the wide range of completed works are the design of the first artificial surfing lake in the world, large-scale water tanks for a public aquarium, refurbishment and new build of architecturally led buildings, industrial facilities, etc. More examples of our work, either as an independent organization or through work with other organizations, are covered here.
People
Our method is a collective and collaborative way of thinking and working that has been consolidated over time with a focus on people. Working collaboratively means working better: more ideas, more cultural and generational diversity, more experience, knowledge and creativity. It is a code of ethics that manifests itself technically, aesthetically and through the environment we live in.
As humans, our world only has meaning because of people. As engineers, so do our designs, in terms of their use, aesthetics and sustainability.

This variety requires specialised consideration depending on the specific application and materials used, but always responds to the same criteria, physical first principles.
